From a wife of a New Nervous member

Kellen told me the other night that I'm one of the most critical people of their music. He said that I have something negative to say about 66% of time. I think he's proud of that. I do really like their music but I want them to do their best so I let him know when I think they should change something or I don't like something. BUT can I just say how proud I was of all of them on Friday night? For those of you who don't know , The New Nervous played their first show since they decided to take a few months off to write. They played a new song and it was AMAZING. I guess I did have 2 hangups but it was really good.

Why I am so excited is because it's the first time in a very long time I'm really excited about the direction their going musically. I've been thinking a lot about it and it gives me the same feeling as Brand New's new album. The feeling of freshness and epic moments. I hope everyone enjoyed the show on Friday or Saturday if you went. I guess the Avalon show will be on Comcast in their on demand section next month in case you didn't make it to either of the shows. I'm excited for this new year of New Nervous music and happenings...I'll keep you updated!
